It actually slips quite a bit when it’s on

It does decrease the pain of handle throttle driving. However it makes keeping control of speed and the ability to stop quite difficult. I have run into things and fallen a few times, I believe, because of the difficulty of controlling the cramp buster. I’m hoping it is just me needing to get more accustomed to its use. It’s a good idea I think.

this works well enough, but it’s nothing fancy. Then again, it didn’t cost very much.

It would slip

This is highly recommended, as it makes using the throttle less tiring for the right hand and wrist. You just need to use extra caution, because with the Crampbuster in place, the throttle can be engaged accidentally with just a nudge of the arm or elbow. For example, with CrampBuster in place, when leaning forward or reaching for items while seated (with the on/off switch in the "on" position), one can more easily engage the throttle accidentally.

My wife says it works well.

I love using the CrampBuster. Due to arthritis and surgical conditions, I have limited grip that impacts my use of the speed power grip. The crampBuster does not require grip to control speed, just very soft wrist pressure. Great price for what I needed and so easy to put on!

Made it much easier for my right hand to cover the break since I could use the heal of my hand or even just my thumb.

I have to travel scoots and had a travel really the cramp buster does keep my wrist from getting cramps. I recommend this product.

Makes using my throttle so much easier

This little addition saved us from buying a new scooter. RA was keeping me from enjoying long rides on my scooter. Know I can drive it with ease. No more twisting the handle!!

I have been using a Crampbuster with my TravelScoot(s) for years now. It makes a HUGE difference to how long I can drive, and how easy it is to drive! We go to museums, fairs, festivals, theme parks, the zoo, shopping, the botanical park… and even with RA, I never tire of driving. You can use the Crampbuster simply as a thumb paddle and it works great. But if you can’t grip the throttle well, or at all, you can still use the Crampbuster to pilot your TravelScoot; just use the heel of your palm, or the side of your hand or fist. If the Crampbuster starts to slide too far up or down around the throttle after using it for a while, just stop driving, and turn off your TravelScoot. Then adjust the Crampbuster safely. You won’t need to do it often, but if you do, always turn your Scoot all the way off. So TL;DR use the Crampbuster, and keep going for more hours of fun and independence with your TravelScoot!
