This is highly subjective. I also have a Deluxe scooter seat and used that scooter for 3 years. The Deluxe is still in great condition and just keeps going strong. I am just now getting used to the Escape seat and it is great. It feels slightly smaller but I am having no issues with it and recommend it. TSA at the airport appears to like this seat better as well because it does not have the thicker softer foam of the Deluxe seat. It appears easier to clear when going through the security checkpoint. If you use the Escape for air travel this seat will serve you well.

I wish it was padded more I found it to be hard
